Frances Elaine Seidel

Frances Elaine (Webb) Seidel, age 86, of 330 W. Third Street, Bloomsburg, died at 3:45 p. m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a patient for one week.

Born in Lightstreet on March 31, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Martha (Shaffer) Webb. She resided in Bloomsburg much of her lifetime.

Elaine was employed in the laundry of the former Bloomsburg Health Care Center for 30 years, retiring in 1998. Earlier she was employed by the former Magee Carpet Company.

She was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Seidel on March 29, 1989 and by a son, Gary E. Seidel on July 24, 2011.

Surviving is a daughter  Linda S. Fox, Bloomsburg; a grandson, Robert Reese, and his wife Maria, Catawissa; two great-granddaughters, Mya Reese and Marilla Reese, both of Catawissa; and a brother, Raymond E. Webb, Orlando, Fla.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
