FRANK W. HOLDREN, II
Frank W. Holdren, II, age 47, 370 Park St., Benton, died at 12:27 a. m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at his home after an illness of two years.
Born in Boonton, New Jersey on March 14, 1964, he was the son of Diane (Decker) Koons, with whom he resided and Murray F. Holdren, Bloomsburg.
Frank resided in Benton for the past five years and previously lived in Millville for a number of years. He was a 1981 graduate of Northern Adirondack Central High School, Ellenburg Depot, New York.
He was employed as a printer most of his working years and last owned the Precision Printers, Millville.
Frank loved music, especially playing his guitar and at one time played in a band. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed all Philadelphia sports, the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers.
Frank has now been reunited with his wife, the former Carol Ann Gould, who preceded him in death on June 7, 2009; a brother, James Wesner, who died in 2007 and his step-father, Ernest B. Koons, who died Nov. 19, 2007.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is his step-mother, Priscilla Dunn, Bloomsburg; sister, Carol Holdren-Cox, Benton; two brothers: George Holdren, and his wife Shelby, Benton and David Wesner, Revere; two step-daughters: Laura Jean, wife of Christopher R. Hess, Sweet Valley and Christy Renee Richart, Benton; a step grandson, Christopher Donald Hess, Sweet Valley; two step-sisters: Carolyn, wife of Charles Levy, Mountaintop and Stephanie Haney, Bloomsburg; and two step-brothers: Jay Koons, and his wife Christine, Nanticoke and Michael Koons, and his wife Margaret, Williamstown.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Benton.
