Frantz Guerrier

Frantz Guerrier, age 73, sadly passed away on Friday December 9, 2022 at his home in Mifflinville.

Born on March 26, 1949 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the son of Dominique Guerrier, of Haiti and the late Smeralda (George) Guerrier.

He was a retired banker and resided in Mifflinville for the past year.

He never met a stranger and loved cracking jokes. He also enjoyed watching soccer and playing table Tennis.

Frantz was a kind, loving and dedicated father and a friend to all.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Marise Lamour, and a brother, Eddy Guerrier.

Surviving in addition to his father in Haiti are two daughters: Marie Guerrier of Owings Mills, Maryland and Grace Guerrier of Mifflinville; two sisters, Dominique Paultre of Haiti and Pascale Cassion of Tampa, Florida and his brothers and sisters in law and their children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 a. m. by Reverend Okeke Hamilton in the chapel of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.

Interment will follow in the Catholic section of New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Viewing will be from 9 –10 a. m.
