Loving mother of fourteen

Freda L. (Snyder) Wagner, age 90, of Grovania Drive, Bloomsburg, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 28, 2023, surrounded by family.

Born in Bloomsburg on August 5, 1933, she was a daughter of the late George and Edith (Black) Snyder.

Freda loved to read the morning newspaper with her coffee, loved to grow a flower garden, put puzzles together, play rummy/board games, outdoor sports with her children and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years and ten months, Robert D. Wagner, on September 22, 2016, two son- in laws, Drue Billig on January 19, 2011 and Juan B. Torres on February 3, 2023, four sisters and four brothers.

Freda is survived by fourteen children; Carol A. Wagner of Berwick, Beverly J., wife of Larry Troy of Bloomsburg, Wanda Jeremiah of Catawissa, Robert Wagner and Audrey Wagner of Bloomsburg, Diane Wagner and Rita Wagner of Danville, Donna Billig of Mifflinville, Patricia wife of Darwin Shaak of Lebanon, Cheryl  Torres of Catawissa, Celia wife of Douglas Birrer of Nescopeck, Tammy wife of Butch Mowery of Berwick, Howard Wagner and Joann Wagner of Bloomsburg; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Dr. Phillip Smith, pastor of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Grove officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
