Frederick R. Druckenmiller

Frederick R. Druckenmiller, age 76, 711 E. Sunbury Street, Shamokin, died Monday evening, September 26, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient since September 14, 2016.

Born in Emmaus, Lehigh County, on November 11, 1939, he was a son of the late Eldon and Gladys (Keller) Druckenmiller.

Following high school, he enlisted in the U. S. Air Force on January 15, 1957 and served honorably until June 24, 1960. He then began working as a truck driver and was employed by various companies in that capacity until retirement.

He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries, Fleetwood.

Surviving is his wife, the former Patricia A. Koller, with whom he celebrated his 54th wedding anniversary on July 29th, 2016; two daughters: Stephanie Druckenmiller and Lisa M. Druckenmiller, both of Shamokin; a grandson, Stephen Druckenmiller, and his wife Heather, Shamokin; a brother, Roy Druckenmiller, and his wife Donnas, Florida: and a sister, Eleanor, wife of Jack Marsh, Macungie.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dominic Druckenmiller and a brother, Bruce Druckenmiller.

There will be no funeral services or viewing.
