Gail I. (Norquest) Shultz, age 76, 2488 Third Street, Bloomsburg (Espy) died at her home at 5:15 p. m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 after and illness of several years.
Born in Boston Mass. on May 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Myrtle A. (Norquest) Ellis.
Gail spent her entire life in the Bloomsburg area and was a 1960 graduate of Central Columbia High School.
She was last employed as a home health aide, working in Berwick. Earlier she was employed by a number of businesses including Dillon Floral, Corp.; Bloomsburg Mills, Inc.; Milco Industries, Inc.; Lane Brooke and the Magee Carpet Co.
Gail enjoyed bowling, playing miniature golf, visiting casinos and swimming.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Gail is survived by her husband, Robert A. Shultz, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage on May 18, 2018 and a number of nieces and nephews, including Jackie, wife of Brian Watkins, Allentown; Jamie Ruckle, and his wife Krista, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Roy Brian Ruckle, and his wife Melissa, Orangeville; Marcus Ruckle, Buckhorn, who were especially close to her.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Rev. John B. Kolenda, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 a. m.
