George N. Belolan

George N. Belolan, age 83, of Bloomsburg, passed away at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Born in Manhattan, New York on December 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Johanna (Franki) Belolan.

George was a teacher for the New York City Public School System for 30 years prior to retiring and moving to Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Camille (Martelli) Belolan; two children, Andrew and Nicole; their spouses, Deidre and Tyler; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Elena.

George will be remembered for his quiet strength and kindness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5th  at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Rev. Richard J. Mowery, Pastor of St. Columba Catholic Church, officiating. The family will greet friends and family from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
