Glenda Fausey Stevenson

Glenda E. (Fausey) Stevenson, age 72, of 10 Crickside Lane, Shickshinny (Jonestown) passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, on Friday December 24, 2021.

Born at the Berwick Hospital on July 29, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Glenwood and Freda M. (Puterbaugh) Fausey. She resided in the Jonestown section of Fishingcreek Township for 25 years and previously lived in Mifflinville. She graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1967.
Glenda was employed by Champion Valley Farms and Del Monte at their plant in Lime Ridge for over 40 years, retiring in 2017.
While a resident of Mifflinville, she attended St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Jack R. Stevenson, with whom she celebrated 25 years of marriage on May 18, 2021; a daughter Heather Hashagen, Charlotte, North Carolina; a son Dennis Hashagen, Berwick; a grandson, Kaden P. Vial, Bloomsburg; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Hashagen, Berwick; a sister, Donna, wife of Ronald Smith, Berwick; a brother, Michael Fausey and his wife Ann, Philadelphia; a niece and a nephew.
There will not be any funeral services or viewing.
