Gloria J. (Herman) Stadler, age 84, of E. Eighth Street, Bloomsburg passed away peacefully at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on Saturday morning, Sept. 21, 2024, after an illness.
Born in Bloomsburg on Aug. 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Katherine E. (Benshoff) Herman. A lifelong resident of Bloomsburg, she graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1958.
Gloria was employed by Bloomsburg Carpet Industries for 41 years, retiring in July, 2019.
She attended the Foundry Church in Berwick and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg.
Gloria enjoyed the time she spent with her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She also enjoyed reading recipe books.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert W. Stadler, Jr., on April 2, 2014.
Gloria is survived by five daughters: Lori wife of Marty Hahn, Lyndee wife of Kimber Tyson, Lanette wife of Ken Shultz, all of Bloomsburg; Leigh Anne wife of Wade Powlus of Rockledge, Florida, Lisa Stadler with whom she resided; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters: Nancy wife of David Swisher of Bloomsburg and Linda wife of Robert Drumm of State College.
All are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life to be held on Tuesday, Sept, 24, 2024 at 2 p. m. in the family activity center on the lower level of Shiloh Bible Church, 123 Church Street, Bloomsburg (Almedia).
In lieu of flowers, friends may remember Gloria by contributing to the Children’s Miracle Network, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, Pa 17822.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
