Glovene M. âHoneyâ Shultz, age 78, of Danville, went home to join her mother with the Lord at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Born in Mahoning Township, Montour County on April 30, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Malvin and Margaret (Bower) Shultz. She resided in the Danville area her entire life.
Honey worked as a seamstress for the former Danville Silk Mill for 16 years until they closed their doors in June 1975.
She liked to read, crochet, go for walks and bicycle rides; and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Honey was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Reibsome; brother, Harry Shultz; sister-in-law, Nancy Shultz; and brother-in-law, Lawrence âLarryâ Day
Surviving is her daughter, Traci K., wife of Robbin Sharr; grandson, Brycen Sharr; granddaughter, Nadine Sharr, all of Danville; brother, Malvin Shultz, Jr., wife Cathy, Northumberland; sister, Dawn Day, Lehighton; several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery, Danville.
