Gregory P. Faust
Gregory P. Faust, age 50, formerly of Sunbury, died at 3:10 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Emmanuel Center For Nursing, Danville, where he resided for two and a half years. He was in failing health for four years.
Born in Bellefonte on May 15, 1963, he was the son of Barry F. and Viola L. (George) Faust, of Danville. His early years were spent in Riverside and he resided in Sunbury for 20 years prior to entering the nursing home. Greg was a 1983 graduate of the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School.
Greg was employed by Sunbury Motors for 17 years as an auto detailer, last working in May, 2011.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville.
Greg enjoyed model trains, especially Lionel and American Flyer. He was an avid sports fan, and rooted for the Dallas Cowboys, Notre Dame and the New York Yankees.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is his grandmother, Marie Faust, Norristown; two brothers: Jeffrey A. Faust, and his wife Kay, Skippack and Randy S. Faust, and his wife Sandy, Maplewood, N.J.; a sister, Tracy, wife of John Hoffecker, Danville; two nieces: Jennifer Harvan and Madeleine Faust; and three nephews: Brandon Faust; Matthew Faust; and Jeremy Faust. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a. m. in the Chapel of Emmanuel Nursing Center, 600 Schoolhouse Road, Danville, with Rev. Dawes J. Dunham, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Danville, officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. A viewing will take place from 9:00 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. at the Emmanuel Center.

Greg's family would like to thank the staff of Emmanuel Nursing Center for their compassionate care these past two and a half years and also Dr. Greg F. Burke, M.D. and Dr. Efram Vargas-Perez, M.D. for their dedicated care given to Greg.
