Henry J. Larsen, Sr., age 89, formerly of Beechwood Drive, Huntingdon Valley, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Grandview Health Homes, Danville.
Born in Philadelphia on July 29, 1920, he was a son of the late Martin and Wilhelmina (Burkhart) Larsen.
Henry was a tool and die maker by trade and worked for the former Langston, Co., Cherry Hill, N.J. for over 25 years before retiring in1985.
He was a member of the Huntingdon Valley United Methodist Church; the Hatboro Lodge, F&A.M. and the National Rifle Association.
Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by a son, James G. Larsen on November 9, 1998.
Surviving is a son, Henry J. Larsen, Jr., Danville; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was the last of his family.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in North Cedar Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
