Hugh Patrick âPatâ Bradley, age 42, 2274 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Espy) died unexpectedly on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the home of his mother, Caroline (Cantwell) McLeod, in the Wonderview section of Bloomsburg.
Born on June 11, 1969 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Hugh Patrick Bradley, Egg Harbor Township, N.J. and Caroline ( Cantwell) McLeod, Bloomsburg. He resided in the Bloomsburg area for seven years and previously lived in Wildwood, N.J. and Philadelphia..
Pat was currently employed by JDK Management, Scott Township and was also a self employed contractor.
Patâs first priority and greatest talent was in being a natural Dad to anyone who needed one, whether they were his kids or not. His favorite pastime was watching the Phillies while enjoying a cold beer. He was an avid, and sometimes obsessed sports fan who also loved to watch the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers, but would watch any sport on TV, especially baseball.
Pat loved to sit on his desk or by the fire with his beer, his friends and his family. He was a very hard worker who spent a lot of time doing projects for âHabitat For Humanityâ, his friends and neighbors during his free time from his contracting business.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is his step-mother, Patricia, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; his wife, Shawn M. Doyle, with whom he celebrated 12 years of marriage on Oct. 2, 2011; a daughter, Alexis B. Pancamo, Bloomsburg; three sons: Anthony (A.J.) Pancamo, Bloomsburg; Christopher A. Bradley, Alabama; Max D. Bradley, at home; a brother, Jerry Bradley, and his wife Lynn, Philadelphia; three sisters: Maureen, wife of Scott Gotschal, Bloomsburg; Dana Bradley and Kathleen Bradley, both of Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p. m.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be sent to the family at their home address.
Additional services will be held in Philadelphia on Monday morning, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Bucks County, PA
