IDA MAE FEASTER
Ida Mae Feaster, age 89, 168-B Indian Run Road, Danville, died at her home early Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, and was pronounced dead at 10:10 a. m.
Born on Jan. 1, 1922 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida (Haas) Riley. She spent her lifetime in the Danville area and was a 1940 graduate of Danville High School.
Ida Mae was employed in the gift shop of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for 35 years, retiring many years ago. She also was a sales representative for Avon Products for a number of years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville.
Ida Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Parvin C. Feaster on Oct. 9, 1987; by five sisters: Dorothy Derr, Emma Brophy, Elsie Burge, Ruth Long and Margaret Aten; and by three brothers: Harry Riley, Walter Riley and Howard Riley.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda L., wife of Gary M. Giger, with whom she resided; two grandchildren: Gary L. Giger, Danville and Kristi Jo Roadarmel, Seminole, Fla.; four great- grandchildren: Cody Roadarmel, Jordyn Roadarmel, Kaleb Giger and Alexa Giger.; and a brother, Arthur Riley, and his wife Jean, Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with her pastor, Rev. Michael A. Greenauer officiating. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p. m. at the funeral home and also on Tuesday from 1-2 p. m.
