Ina E. Eifert

Ina E. (Anderson) Eifert, age 66, of 84 Whites Church Road, Bloomsburg, died at 3:15 p. m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a patient.

Born in Bloomsburg on April 14, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Jack R. and Mary Alice (Norquest) Anderson. She resided in Mount Pleasant Township since 1981 and was a 1971 graduate of Central Columbia High School.

Ina was employed by Walmart from August 1999 to November 2018, when she retired. Early in her life she was a cosmetologist, having received her state cosmetology license in 1972.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren following her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She made sacrifices for her family willingly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Lanny Lee Eifert, on Sept. 27, 2019.

Surviving are two daughters: Jackie, wife of Brian Watkins, Palm and Nadine L. Eifert, Bloomsburg; two sons: Lanny L. Eifert, who resided with her and Seth E. Eifert, and his fiance’ Kimberly Robinson of Bloomsburg; eight grandchildren and a sister, Mary Jean, wife of Roy Ruckle, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Parks-Snyder, pastor of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Ikeler’s Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township. Viewing will be on Thursday from 6-8 p. m.
