Isabelle G. Neyhard, age 92, 219 Valley Road, Bloomsburg, died at her home at 5:22 a. m. Thursday, October 4, 2012. She was in failing health since December, 2011.
Born in Berwick on January 18, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Adeline âAddieâ (Rood) McAfee. She resided in Bloomsburg since 1942 and resided on West Street for many years.
Isabelle was a 1938 graduate of Berwick High School.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Neyhard on October 28, 1994; by a daughter, Carol Jean Neyhard on April 18, 1960 and by four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda K., wife of Jack Runge, Jr., with whom she last resided and a son, Stephen L. Neyhard, and his wife Bonny, Bloomsburg, five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Joseph McAfee, Jr., who was raised by Mrs. Neyhard. She was the last of her immediate family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday at 1 p. m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Espy) with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders officiating. At her request, there will be no viewing.
