Jacob B. âJakeâ Stout, age 19, 298 Peacock Corners Road, Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 12, 2015 while visiting at the Deerfield Village, Canaan Valley, West Virginia.
Born in Bloomsburg on February 17, 1996, he was a son of Jeffrey D. and Kimberlee D. (Kemp) Stout, with whom he resided. Jake attended Central Columbia schools before attending Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School, and received his diploma from Pennsylvania Charter Cyber School. He resided in the Bloomsburg area all his life.
Jake was a member of Emmanuel Bible Chapel, Berwick. When he was younger he played little league baseball. Recently he enjoyed hiking with his family. He loved his older brothers and younger sisters.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers: Nicolas J. Stout, Catawissa and Ryan C. Stout, Lime Ridge; two sisters: Caroline (LinTong) Stout and Megan (LingChaShan) Stout, at home; maternal grandparents: Connie and Will Fairchild, Berwick and R. Randy and Karen Kemp, Wapwallopen; and paternal grandparents, Sharon and Donald Whitebread, Watsontown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Pastor Bob Hess and Rev. R. Christian Dunlap, Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m.
