Jacqueline M. (Rugalla) Eichelberger, age 78, of McLaughlin Road, Milton died early Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville.

Born in Shamokin on April 3, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Violet (Jeanetti) Rugalla. She resided in Milton for the last 21 years and previously lived in Atlas most of her life.

Jackie was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. She also graduated from the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg.

She was employed by Geisinger Medical Center in Danville as an Emergency Room Coder for 29 years, retiring in 2012.

Jackie was a member of St. Paul’s Chapel in Atlas.

She enjoyed going on cruises with her significant other, Jimmy. She enjoyed crocheting and her dog, Sophie.

Surviving are two children: Eric S. Eichelberger and his wife Sherry of Locust Gap and Stephanie, wife of Michael Baker of Danville; a grandson, Jason Fox of Atlas; a granddaughter: Meghan, wife of Ken Lang of York Springs; two great-grandchildren, Samuel Lang and Natalie Lang; her twin sister, Gerry M. Winters of Harrisburg and her significant other of 21 years, Jimmy Thompson, with whom she resided in Milton.

At her request, there will be no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
