Janice M. Bellum

Janice M. (Wawroski) Bellum, age 60, 65 Dogtown Road, Bloomsburg, died Wednesday afternoon, February 8, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she was a patient since December 19, 2016.

Born in Bloomsburg on February 6, 1957, she was a daughter of Theresa (Hermanski) Kerr, Winter Haven, Fla. and the late Eugene R. "Pete" Wawroski. Her step-mother was the late Charlotte (Miller) Bunge Wawroski.

Janice was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg/Catawissa area and a 1975 graduate of Southern Area High School, Catawissa.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg.

Janice was a self employed dog breeder (pugs). She enjoyed traveling and going to sprint races, as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included basket weaving and various crafts. She was a former member of the Bloomsburg High School Band Booster Club and was active in the Bloomsburg School District PTA when her daughters were in school.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is her husband, Ronnie G. Bellum, with whom she celebrated 31 years on marriage on February 1, 2017; two daughters: Angela I. wife of Keith Crossley, Lightstreet; Tiffany A. Bellum, and her fiance', Chad Downton. Starrucca; three grandchildren: Stone Keller; Cannon Crossley; Kaydence Downton; a brother, Brian E. Wawroski, and his wife Mishelle, Bloomsburg; two nieces: Alyssa Wawroski and Emily Wawroski, both of Bloomsburg; and  several step sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p. m., in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Mgsr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Interment in Harger's Cemetery, Beaver Township. Viewing will be from 1-2 p. m.
