Jean (Crawford) Cherwinski

Jean (Crawford) Cherwinski, age 87, formerly of Park Street, Bloomsburg, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Emmanuel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Danville.

Born in Ashland on September 24, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Alma (Brassington) Crawford. She resided on Park Street from 1963 to April, 2019.

Jean was last employed by Danville State Hospital as a dietary aide. Retiring in 1993.

She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers, especially the roses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Cherwinski, on February 5, 2014 ending a marriage of 61 years.

Surviving is her son, Richard J. Cherwinski and his wife Tatiana and their daughter Sabrina Cherwinski of Belmont, Calif., and a daughter, Sharon Letman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg with Catholic Campus Ministry Chaplain, Rev. Andrew P. St. Hilaire officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Viewing from 10-11 a. m.
