Jeffrey A. "Alby" Albertson

Jeffrey A. “Alby” Albertson, age 57, of 47 E. Third Street, Bloomsburg, died early Saturday morning at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient. He had resided at Grandview Healthcare & Rehabilitation for the past year.

Born in Bloomsburg on March 6, 1963, he was the son of Joan (Trudnak) Albertson and the late Leland Albertson. He was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg and a 1981 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Jeff worked in electronics, sound and lighting. He last worked at Pro Audio and earlier managed the former Capitol Theater and was employed by Bloomsburg Automotive. He enjoyed playing golf, swimming at the town pool and all sports, especially baseball. He also enjoyed traveling, particularly to Key West, Florida.

He was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Joan T. Albertson and his sister Maryann Albertson with whom he resided.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
