Jeffrey Allen Eisenhauer

Jeffrey A. Eisenhauer, age 73, of LaSalle Street, Berwick, died at his home on Tuesday afternoon, May 2, 2023 after an illness.

Born in Berwick on November 19, 1949, he was a son of the late John, Sr. and Dorothy (Dyer) Eisenhauer. He resided in the Berwick area most of his life, except for 10 years when he resided in Syracuse, New York.

Jeff was last employed by AB & J Fire Protection Co., Syracuse, New York for ten years, retiring in 2012.

He proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Gary Rainier, two sisters, Joanne and Linda and two brothers John and Jay.

Jeff is survived by his wife, the former Sherry Welliver, and they would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2023; a son Brian A. Eisenhauer of Bloomsburg; a daughter, April L. Eisenhauer of Lafayette, Ind.; three step-sons: Keith Rainier and his wife Amy of Bloomsburg, Bud Rainier and his wife Annette of Muncy, Chris Rainier of Sweet Valley; ten grandchildren, sever great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg with Brenda Yaple, Commonwealth Hospital Chaplain officiating. Interment in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 to 1 p. m.
