Jeffrey L. Stackhouse, age 55, 676 Pine Tree Road, Millville, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the emergency room of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and was pronounced dead at 10:11 p. m.

Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on January 18, 1960, he was the son of Relda (Musselman) Stackhouse, Millville, and the late Byron O. Stackhouse. He spent his life in the Millville area and was a 1978 graduate of Millville High School.

Jeff was employed as a foreman by Abraczinskas Nurseries, Inc., Catawissa, for 40 years, having started working there as a young man in high school.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman; enjoyed canoeing and especially riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is also survived by his wife, the former Alicia M. Shoemaker, with whom he observed 34 years of marriage on April 4, 2015;  a son, Matthew A. Stackhouse; and two grandsons: Glenn and Gabriel Stackhouse, all of Bloomsburg; a sister, Jill Kline, Millville and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Walter E. Minto, Jr., pastor of the Jackson Baptist Church, Derr's officiating. Interment at Gordner's Cemetery, Unityville. There will be no viewing.
