JERRY A. REEDY
Jerry A. Reedy, age 56, 35 Roup Lane, Danville, died at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 and was pronounced dead at 6:40 p. m.
Born in Mahoning Township, on July 12, 1954, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mildred (Fenstermacher) Reedy. He spent his entire life in the Danville area.
Jerry was employed as a kennel attendent at the Pennsylvania S.P.C.A., Danville since 1993 and formerly worked at the former Cabinet Industries, Danville.
He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Lost Dutchman Mining Association.
Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia A. Sewa, with whom he celebrated his 38th wedding anniversary on Oct. 5, 2010; a son, Christopher O'Brien, Sunbury; five brothers: Samuel Reedy, and his wife Martha, Mooresburg; Russell Reedy, and his wife Joan, Danville; Paul Reedy, and his wife Beverly, Berwick; John Reedy, and his wife Sherry, Berwick; David Reedy, and his wife Janet, Maryland; four sisters: Peggy, wife of William Sudol, Danville; Kathleen A., wife of Carroll Bowersox, Kreamer; Joan, wife of Marlin Bressi, Milton; Patricia Knight, Sunbury; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Baylor and by two brothers: Michael Reedy and James Re
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
