Joan L. "Joanne" Babb

Joan L. “Joanne” Babb, age 72, formerly of Iron St., Bloomsburg, died at 5:05 a.m. on November 11, 2019 at the Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident since April 2017.

Born on January 20, 1947 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Herdick Leroy and Edith Amanda (Confer) Babb. She attended the former Scott Township schools. Joan resided in the Bloomsburg area for her entire life.

Joan enjoyed taking photographs, covered bridges and adult coloring books.

Joan was preceded in death by a brother, Herdick R. “Dick” Babb in 1994.

She is survived by a sister, Susan, wife of James Browne, Millville; brother, Robert S. Babb, and his wife Linda, Bloomsburg; sister, Jacqueline, wife of Theodore Winders, West Milton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 15 at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Audrey M. Broscious, pastor of the Buckhorn United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Millville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m.
