Joann (Ulrich) Weaver

Joann (Ulrich) Weaver, age 75, of Danville, died on Friday, May 24, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on March 22, 1949 in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of the late David H. and Martha L. (Housenick) Ulrich.

Joann was employed by Jo Ville Dress Factory for numerous years and last worked in housekeeping at Geisinger Medical Center.

Joann loved to camp and fish in Delaware. Enjoyed knitting, jig saw puzzles, baking cookies and bread.  She also helped her husband create street rods by doing the interiors.

She is survived by: her husband of 56 years Dale E. Weaver, with whom she married on April 5, 1968; son, Dale E. Weaver, Jr., at home; daughter, Joline wife of Charles Kovaschetz, Riverside; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Kovaschetz and wife Sarah, Courtney wife of Devane King, Jacob Kovaschetz, and 6 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
