John "John-John" Barratt

John "John-John" Barratt, age 59, of 126 W. Ninth St., Bloomsburg, died at 1:55 p. m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient since Oct. 1, 2019.

Born in Bloomsburg on Nov. 2, 1959, he was a son of the late William F. and Mary Louise (Bringenberg) Barratt.. He was a lifelong  resident of Bloomsburg and a 1978 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

John was employed at Catawissa Monument, Inc., in Catawissa for 41 years.

He was a member of the Mainville Sportsman's Club and the Sons of the American Legion, Post 273, Bloomsburg. He worked at the Bloomsburg Fair for many years, primarily at the stage.

John was an avid hunter and dog lover. His current dogs were Lindy and Arlo.

Surviving are his significant other of 31 years, Laura S. Fetterolf; a sister, Mary M. Lechleitner, Nescopeck;  four brothers: William J. Barratt of Mifflin Township; D. Eugene Barratt, and his wife Brenda,  Catawissa;  Carl R. "Pook" Barratt, and his wife Linda, Bloomsburg;  Michael  G. Barratt, and his significant other, Diane Albertson, Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wed. at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg., with Rev. Dr. Jennifer Parks-Snyder, pastor of Lightstreet United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Old Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. Viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 p. m.
