John E Laubach

 John E. Laubach, age 83, of Danville died at 5:50 a. m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing in Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on April 10, 1937 he was a son of the late William C., Sr. and Hazel I. (Montague) Laubach. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School and also of the former Bloomsburg State Teachers College. He later earned a degree in Guidance from Alfred University in New York State.

John resided in the Corning, New York area for many years before returning to Pennsylvania.

He was last employed by New York State in the Department of Social Service.

John is survived by a daughter Lynne Goldman and her partner Harry Brady, Naples, Fla. and her children Alyson Goldman, Chicago, Ill. and Matthew Goldman and his wife Natasha, Denver, Colo.; a son Jeffrey Laubach and his partner Rachel of Plymouth, Mass. and his children Nicole Laubach, Corey Laubach, Kelli Laubach and Aaron Laubach, all of Mass.; a brother William C. Laubach, Jr., Bloomsburg, a sister Kay M. Slusser, Bloomsburg and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held in Spring and will be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
