John B. Robison, Jr.

John B. Robison, Jr., age 81, of Orangeville, died early Tuesday October 15, 2024 at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital, where he was a patient.

Born on December 9, 1942 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was the son of the late John B., Sr. and Lois L. (Ward) Robison. He was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg/Orangeville area and a 1960 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

John was employed by the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc. for 36 years, retiring in 2003.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Joyce Ann Howard, on May 16, 2018; son, John B. Robison, III, on May 28, 2014; and sister, Patricia Zobel, in 2007.

Surviving is a daughter, Michelle Louise, wife of Larry LaPolt, of Bloomsburg; brother, Fredrick L. Robison; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 21, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Rev. Timothy Zimmerman, pastor of Spirit Life Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Ikeler’s Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 9-10 a.m.
