Joseph R. McFadden, Jr.

Joseph R. McFadden, Jr., age 71, of Catawissa, PA died at his home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 after an illness.

Born in Philadelphia on June 2, 1952, he was a son of the late Joseph R., Sr. and Mary D. (Cahill) McFadden. He resided in Catawissa for the past 15 years and previously lived in Levittown.

Joe was a truck driver, last working for Alcoa Concrete in Bristol before retiring in 2006 due to health issues.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Levittown. He loved cars and driving as well as going to the casino. He was known by family and friends as a jokester.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Losink.

Surviving is his loving wife, the former Mary Fraley, with whom he would have observed their 47^th wedding anniversary on April 30^th, a son, Joseph T. McFadden of Bristol; three grandchildren: Nicholas McFadden and his wife Angelina of Cranbury, NJ, Miranda McFadden of Levittown, Savannah McFadden of Bristol; four great-grandchildren: Matty, Nico, Noah and Athena; a brother, Leon McFadden and his wife Evelyn of Hoopeston, Illinois; three sisters, Regina Gartner of Cranberry, PA, Cathy wife of Rick Brown of Duncansville, Bernadette wife of James Hargrave of Levittown, a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Private services will be held by the family.
