Judith A. "Judy" Boyer, age 63, Danville, died at 10:40 a. m. Monday, September 5, 2016, at Grandview Health & Rehabilitation, where she was a guest since May 13, 1997.
Born in Bloomsburg on May 14, 1953, she was the daughter of Nancy (Evans) Robinson, Clearwater, Fla. and late Carl Johnson. She resided in Danville for many years.
Judy was a 1971 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and attended Penn State University and the former Bloomsburg State College.
Judy was employed by the former WHLM radio station as an announcer prior to her illness. She enjoyed her job at the radio station very much and also enjoyed the time she spent with her family and listening to music.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Carl F. Boyer, Catawissa; three children: Nicole R., wife of Ken Earnest, Danville; Zachary F. Boyer, Millmont; Elizabeth A. Boyer, Danville; four grandchildren: Kayley Dayoc; Ashlee Lazure; Blake Earnest; and Kayla Boyer; a brother, Alan Johnson, Redington, Fla.; and a sister, Betsy, wife of Paul Evans, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
