Judith E. Smith, age 64, 338 W. Fifth St., Bloomsburg, died at her home Thursday, March 4, 2010 and was pronounced dead at 7:50 a.m.
Born in Berwick on March 15, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Faye (Hummel) Oman. She was a 1963 graduate of Berwick High School, and resided in the Bloomsburg area most of her life.
For the past 17 years Judith was employed as a caregiver by Hope Enterprises, Danville.
Judith loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and taking bus trips.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Ronnie Lee Robbins on Jan. 21, 2000.
Surviving is her companion of 20 years, Merle Knorr, at home; a son, Robert Terry and his wife Barb, Nescopeck; two daughters: Charlotte, wife of Duane Shadle, Orangeville and Rhonda Robbins, Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Oman and his wife Pip, Williamsport.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Hendrickson-Mooresburg United Methodist Churches, officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
