Judy A. (Wenner) Hess

Judy A. (Wenner) Hess, age 77, of 224 Stoney Brook Rd., Orangeville, died at her home early Monday morning September 19, 2022 after a long illness.

Born in Bloomsburg on January 19, 1945 she was a daughter of the late Arthur M. and Erma B. (Buckalew) Wenner. She spent her lifetime in the Orangeville area and was a 1962 graduate of Central Columbia High School.

Judy was last employed as a receptionist for Dr. Robert Rodman in Berwick and also for Dr. Earl Ritter in Bloomsburg. Earlier she was employed at the former Columbia County Farmers National Bank.

A member of the Orangeville United Church, she enjoyed writing poems, making flower arrangements, and playing the piano.

Surviving is her husband, Milton L. Hess, with whom she would have celebrated her 58^th wedding anniversary on December 7, 2022; two sons, Lee A. Hess, of Benton, and John M. Hess, and his wife Alice, of Orangeville; three grandsons: John P. Hess, Tyler Hess, and Cameron Hess; a step-granddaughter: Paige Yorks; a step-grandson: Owen Fink; and a brother, Edwin A. Wenner, and his wife Karen, of Orangeville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in St. James United Church of Christ, Zaners Bridge Rd., Stillwater, with Dr. Robert Rodman, officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10 a.m. -12 noon. A luncheon will follow the interment.
