Julian J. Wahly

Julian J. Wahly, age 58, of Catherine Street, Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Born in McKeesport on March 31, 1966, he was a son of Janet (Mantooth) Wahly of Danville and the late Julien V. Wahly. His early life was spent in Danville and he resided in Bloomsburg for over 20 years. He was a 1984 graduate of Danville High School.

Julian was employed last at Naps Pizza in Bloomsburg and previously at Tri Pi Pizzeria, Bloomsburg and Naps prior to that. Years ago he owned the Dynamic Health Center in Bloomsburg.

He was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed bicycling and exercising.

Julian served his country faithfully as a member of the U. S. Air Force from 1985 to 1990.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons: Eric Bonea and Aaron Bonea, of Missouri; two brothers: Jeffrey Wahly of Catawissa and Jason Wahly and his wife Courtney of Riverside; a nephew and a niece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3 p. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville. There will be a viewing from 1 to 3 p. m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
