Karen F. Vesnesky, age 67, of 5 Willow Lane, Bloomsburg, died at 3:47 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Geisinger Medical Center, Mahoning Twp.
Born on February 22, 1946 in Floral Park, Nassau Co., NY, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Shirley (Kerns) Ficher. She had resided in Bloomsburg since 199o.
Karen was employed for many years as a registered nurse for the Bloomsburg Hospital.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving is her husband, Louis A. Vesnesky, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage on February 5, 2013; sons: William Vesnesky, Seattle, WA; Erik L. Vesnesky, wife Linda, Concord, CA and Michael Vesnesky, Issaquah, WA and grandchildren: Tabitha and Gabriel Vesnesky, both of Concord, CA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
