Kathleen M. “Kathy” Kreisher

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Kreisher, age 58, 187 Dahl Road, Bloomsburg, died  at her home at 10:05 a. m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, after a brief illness.

Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on November 14, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Charles N. and Joanne L. (Bond) Lobach. Her early life was spent in rural Danville and she resided in Hemlock Township since 1974. She was a 1972 graduate of Danville High School.

Kathy was employed by the Neiderheiser Chiropractic Clinic as a chiropractic assistant for 28 years and last by  One Source Staffing, last working in 2000.

An active member of the Buckhorn United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer, sang in the choir and helped with co-ordinating funeral luncheons. She also taught the nursery class of the Sunday School for 22 years.

Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Kreisher, with whom she celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on June 22, 2012; two sons: Mark C. Kreisher and Nathan P. Kreisher, and his wife Joyce, all of Bloomsburg; three grandchildren: Brady Kreisher, Hailey Kreisher and Dylan Kreisher; a brother, Douglas Lobach, Dover; a sister, Linda, wife of Douglas Rubenstein, Bloomsburg; a niece, Amy Rubenstein, Danville; and a nephew, Eric Rubenstein, Gainesville, Fla.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Columbia Hill Cemetery, rural Danville, on Saturday at 10 a. m. with her pastor, Audrey M. Brosious officiating.

Following the burial, there will be a memorial service at 11 a. m. in the Buckhorn United Methodist Church, 94 School House Road, Bloomsburg. Immediately following the memorial service, all are invited to a luncheon which will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, E. Fifth & Iron Streets, Bloomsburg.

Viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.

The family will provide flowers. Kathy asked that any memorial contributions be sent to her Church, Buckhorn United Methodist Church, 94 School House Rd., Bloomsburg., PA 17815.
