Kellie S. English, age 39, formerly of Beaver Place, Danville and Bloomsburg, died at 5:13 p. m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown. She was seriously injured in a fire at her apartment in July, 2010 and hospitalized or in a nursing home since then.
Born in Bristol on Nov. 6, 1972, she was the daughter of Anthony DelAversano, Trenton, NJ and Eileen (Ramsey) Bloom, Espy. She spent much of her lifetime in Bloomsburg and attended the Columbia-Montour Vocational Technical School where she was in the cosmetology curriculum. She was a cheer leader for the wrestling team while in school.
Kellie was involved with the parent group for the head start program in Bloomsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Donald âDonâ English, Jr. on May 2, 2008.
Surviving in addition to her parents, is her step father, Alan Bloom, Espy; three sons: Jakob D. English Milton; Donald J. English, Danville; Jayson N. English, Milton; and five siblings: Sharon Oakum, Bloomsburg; Matthew Pennypacker, Millville; Erica Penny Packer, Berwick; Breanna Smith and Katie Smith, both of Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Mooresburg-Hendrickson United Methodist Churches officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a. m.
