Kenneth A. DeNoon,, age 76, 350 Iron St., Bloomsburg, died at 11:26 a. m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Emmanuel Center For Nursing, Danville, where he resided since Jan. 28, 2013.
Born on November 7, 1938 in Harbor Beach, Mich., he was a son of the late James W. and Everine C. (Lester) DeNoon. He resided in Bloomsburg since 2005.
He was the retired part owner of the Ultra Transmission Service, Toms River, N.J. retiring in 2003.
Kenneth served with the US Army from 1955 to 1958.
Surviving are three children: Sandra Bruno, with whom he resided in Bloomsburg; Kenneth S. DeNoon, Mifflinville; Christina, wife of Marc Vanleer, Lynchburg, VA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, James DeNoon, wife Norma, Waterford, Mich.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Emmanuel Center For Nursing for their excellent and compassionate care and also the Columbia Montour Home Hospice staff.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
