Kenneth J. Fleenor
Kenneth J. Fleenor, age 72, 16 Meadow Lane, Danville, died at 3:25 p. m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where he was admitted Saturday.. He was in failing health for several years.
Born on February 5, 1941 in Bristol, Tenn., he was a son of the late Clara Jane (Fleenor) Guinn. He resided in Danville for 25 years and previously lived in Connecticut.
Kenneth was a 1959 graduate of Bristol (Tenn.) High School and also attended the University of Tennessee, Johnson City, Tenn.
He was employed at the Danville Weis Markets Store for seven years as cashier for the gas pumps, last working on March 29. Formerly he was an estimator for various construction companies.
Surviving are his wife, the former Luella J. Roberts, with whom he celebrated his 32nd wedding anniversary on November 24, 2012; five children: Michael A. Trammell, and his wife Tammy, Prattville, Ala; Deborah Jane, wife of John Lenig, Selinsgrove; John W. Gibbons, Danielson, Conn.; Kenneth Lee Fleenor and Amy Janelle Fleenor, both of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; and a sister.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Liver Transplant Program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, 1020 Walnut St., Phila., PA 19107.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
