Kenneth L. Hock

Kenneth L. Hock, age 66, 77 Heller's Hill Road, Berwick, died at 6:23 a. m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient for two  days. He was in failing health for several months.

Born in Bloomsburg on April 22, 1953, he was a son of the late Max and Rose (Dawson) Hock, He was a 1970 graduate of the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School. Ken resided in the Bloomsburg Berwick area his entire life.

Ken was last employed as a landscaper by the former Eshleman's Nursey at Lime Ridge, working there for 25 years. Earlier he was employed by the Wise Potato Chip Co., in Berwick.

He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, photography and especially caring for his flower gardens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Hock and a brother Thomas Wayne Hock.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer, wife of James Gumpy, New Ringgold; a son, Jason J. Hock, and his wife  Christina, Berwick; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, David W. Hock, and his wife Delores, Lightstreet and a sister Dorothy J. Hock, and her husband Richard Remley, Lightstreet.

It was Ken's request that there be no funeral services or viewing following his death.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
