Kenneth D. Leidy, II, age 39, 5007 Woods Road, Stewartstown, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at York Hospital. He had been in failing health for two years.
Born in Berwick on May 14, 1972, he was the son of Kenneth D. and Gale (Hervieux) Leidy. A 1990 graduate of Kennard-Dale High School, Fawn Grove, he had lived in the Stewartstown area since 1986.
Ken was employed as a computer draftsman for Stewart & Tate Construction, York, last working in 2008.
He enjoyed fishing, and building and flying model airplanes.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, the former Jennifer Taliano, Red Lion; a daughter, Katherine M. Leidy, Red Lion; two sisters: Geri L. Leidy, Red Lion and Heather L. Leidy, Stewartstown and a nephew, Brice Leidy, Red Lion.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Rev. Robert J. Eddinger, pastor of the Ridge Street United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg, officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday.
