Lane Ikeler

Lane Crawford Ikeler, age 51, of Bel Air, Maryland died of natural causes at his home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Born in York on May 6, 1970, he was the only child of Larry C. and Lucille (Zablocky) Ikeler.

He was a 1988 graduate of Hereford High School, Hereford, MD and also graduated from Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture. At the time of his death, he was an independent contractor specializing in architectural specifications.

Lane was a member of Pi Lamba Phi fraternity. He was an avid walker and enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his children’s activities. His hobby was making stained glass lamps.

Surviving in addition to his parents who reside in Parkton, Maryland, is his wife, the former Laura Harman, with whom he would have celebrated 20 years of marriage on April 13, 2022, a son Daniel Ikeler and a daughter Abigail Ikeler. He is also survived by many cousins and other close- knit family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg with family friend Alan Harris presiding. Interment will follow in the Ikeler Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township. Viewing will be from 10-11 a. m.
