Larry C. Beagle

Larry C. Beagle, age 82, of 3519 Second Street, Bloomsburg (Almedia), died early Tuesday morning,  September 20, 2022 at his home after an illness.

Born on January 6, 1940 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Clark and Bertina (Bath) Beagle. He spent his entire life in the Bloomsburg area and was a 1959 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Larry was employed at Danville State Hospital as a dietician, working there for 17 years, retiring in 2002.

He was a member of the Saddle Rock Rod & Gun Club, Sugarloaf Township. He enjoyed hunting and watching football on television.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Theodore Beagle.

Surviving is his wife, the former Ruth Ann Kessler, with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage on February 11, 2022; a son, Dennis A. Beagle at home; a daughter, Sue E. wife of Todd Shultz, Bloomsburg; a grandson, Bryant Johnson of Danville; two granddaughters, Kelsey Johnson of Wyoming, PA and Alicia wife of Dennis McHenry, Orangeville, and a great-granddaughter Hailey McHenry.

In keeping with Larry’s request there will be no funeral services or viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
