Larry L. Heller, age 82, of Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Espy) passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Bloomsburg on October 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Guy W. and I. Audrey (Kinney) Heller. He was a lifelong resident of Scott Township and a 1960 graduate of the former Scott Township High School.
Larry was employed at the former R. R. Donnelly Co, Bloomsburg. for 37 years, retiring in 2004.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Espy. He also held a membership in the Bloomsburg Fair from 1961 to 2023.
Larry proudly served his country by serving with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273, American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half- brother, Perry Eugene Heller, his first wife, the former Nancy Jean Garman, on July 23, 2007 and a stepson, Lonnie Fornwald.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda (Schlieder) Heller, a step-daughter, Sheila Kile of Montrose and a step-granddaughter, Erin, wife of Tyler Dodd of Watsontown, a stepdaughter-in-law, Tammy Fornwald, of Treverton, and a step grandson, Bo Kiessling, and his sons, Brayden and Landon.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:30 p. m. in St. John Lutheran Church, 2575 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Espy) with his pastor, Rev. Gordon E. Smith officiating. The family will provide flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
