Laura A. (Conahan) Marsilio, age 76, of 39 W. Mahoning Street, Danville, died at her home and was pronounced dead on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
Born in Hazleton on November 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Dolly M. (Engle) Conahan.
She was a 1960 graduate of the Philadelphia Public School System. She resided in Fernville (Bloomsburg) for many years before moving to Danville three years ago.
Laura was currently working in the House of Care at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Earlier she was employed as a manager at Cracker Barrel restaurant, Buckhorn and the Buckhorn Family Restaurant, Buckhorn.
She was a member of the Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Danville.
Laura loved her sister's standard poodle Rylee, the time she spent with her family and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luigi F. Marsilio in 1980 and by a brother, Michael F. Conahan.
Laura is survived by her sister, Margaret A. Williams, Danville; a brother, Patrick J. Conahan, and his wife Lynn, Haddon Heights, New Jersey; six nephews and nieces: Jennifer Llewellyn, Jeffrey R. Llewellyn, and Jessica S. Cooper, all of Danville; Laura C., wife of Kyle Price, Browndale; Christine, wife of John Carter and a nephew, Patrick J. Conahan, Jr., and his wife Amy, all of New Jersey
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p. m. in Christ Memorial Episcopal Church. 156 E. Market St., Danville, with her pastor, Rev. James Strader-Sasser officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
