Lawrence J. "Larry" DiSipio
Lawrence J. “Larry†DiSipio, Sr., age 77, of Washingtonville, was pronounced dead at his home at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015.
Born in Philadelphia on January 25, 1938, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary (D’Zuro) DiSipio. He resided in Washingtonville for a year, Danville for ten years and previously lived in the Benton (Waller) area.
Larry worked in shipping and receiving for the Kmart Corporation, Bloomsburg for 30 years, retiring in 2005. He was a great dancer and family man; enjoyed gardening and all sports.
Surviving is his former wife, Martha (Hopkins) DiSpio, Catawissa; two sons: Lawrence J. “Larry†DiSipio, Jr., wife Jennifer, Lakeland, Fla. and Anthony DiSipio, wife Jennifer, Bethlehem; two step-sons: Joe Grove, wife Louise, Catawissa and Robert Santore, wife Cindy, Ranshaw; 12 grandchildren; two brothers: Anthony DiSipio, Long Beach Island, N.J. and John DiSipio, Philadelphia; and a sister, Marie Stedman, Philadelphia.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
