Leonard D. McCormick
Leonard Dale McCormick, age 76, 44 Montour Street, Danville, died at his home at 1 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013.
Born in Danville on November 21, 1936, he was a son of the late Raymond D. and Cora A. (Andrews) McCormick. He resided in Silver Springs, Nevada for 45 years before returning to Danville in November 2011.
Dale was a 1955 graduate of Danville High School.
He was last employed as a salesman by Kushins Shoes at the Meadowood Mall, Reno, Nevada, before retiring in 1995.
Surviving are six siblings: Wanda, wife of Ken Rupp, with whom he resided; Jeffrey McCormick; Carol, wife of Harry Lewis; David McCormick, and his wife Domenica; twins: Arlene McCormick and Marlene Renz, all of Danville and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery, Danville. There will be no calling hours.
