Linda  K.  Crawford

Linda K. Crawford, age 58, 131 Main Street, Catawissa,  died at 5:25 a. m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center, where she was a patient for 12 days. She was in failing health for the past year.

Born in Bloomsburg on June 25, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Ross Eugene and Elizabeth D. (Rupert)  Roeder. Her early life was spent in Espy and she resided in Catawissa since 1974.

Linda was a 1972 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a member of the St. John’s Community  Church of Christ, Catawissa.

She enjoyed bowling in her younger days and playing card games with her family. A homemaker, she enjoyed baking and was known for her brownies and peanut butter fudge. An avid fan of her son’s  favorite sporting teams, she was a loving and devoted mother and looked forward to spending time with her  grandson who was her newest pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Randy Roeder.

Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Crawford, with whom she celebrated  her 38th wedding anniversary on October 5, 2012; a son, Jason E. Crawford, and his wife Roslyn J., Berwick; a grandson, Sean Ray Crawford, Berwick; two brothers: Roger Roeder, Catawissa and Barry Roeder, and his wife Anita, Liberty Hills, Tex.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Charles R. Swank officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 - 11 a. m.
