Linda L. (Williams) Frew, age 65, 35 Valley View Road, Danville, died at 8 a. m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Heritage Springs Memory Care Center, Lewisburg where she was a patient.
Born in Bloomsburg on July 14, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Robert R., and Louise E. (Bailey) Williams.
Linda was a 1969 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a 1972 graduate of the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing in Sayre. She resided in Danville since 1978.
As a Registered Nurse she was employed by the Robert Packer Hospital and also the Geisinger Medical Center.
Linda was always involved in her sons lives and their activities, such as Danville High School Band Boosters; Boy Scouts; and AYSO soccer. She also was interested in geneaology and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She thoroughly enjoyed being a grandmother. Friends will remember her as a warm and funny lady.
She and her husband, Henry W. Frew, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on September 25, 2016. Also surviving are two sons: Henry R. Frew, and his wife Susan, Billings, Mont. and Alex R. Frew, Danville; three grandchildren: Naudia Downs-Frew, Catawissa; and Henry S. Frew and Olivia L. Frew, both of Billings, Mont.; and a sister, Janelle Hemma, Danville.
There will be a visitation for friends and family on Monday from 6-8 p. m. at the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville. Private graveside services will be held in the Walpole Rural Cemetery, Walpole, Mass.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hospice of Evangelical, 1 Hospital Dr., Lewisburg, PA 17837.
