Lois D. (Fish) Roberts, age 59, 1130 Main Street (Lightstreet), Bloomsburg, died at her home and was pronounced dead at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Her death followed an illness of several years.
Born in Berwick on February 11, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Herbert C., Sr. and Carrie E. (Hill) Fish. She was a 1974 graduate of Berwick High School, and resided in Lightstreet since 1991.
Lois was employed by Milco Industries, Inc., Bloomsburg for 22 years, last working in 2011.
She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Berwick; and a social member of Ft. McClure Post 804 VFW, Bloomsburg.
Lois enjoyed Nascar racing, and she loved to cook.
Surviving are her husband, Arnold D. âDocâ Roberts, Jr., with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage on July 13, 2014; a daughter, Beth A. Fox/Brown, wife of Robert Brown, Philadelphia; three sons: Loren A. Farver, Bloomsburg; Arnold A. Roberts, wife Samantha, Benton; Timothy D. Roberts, Orangeville; three grandchildren: Kaelyn, Alexa and Noah; three brothers: Harold J. Hill; Herbert C. Fish, Jr., wife Elizabeth âCookieâ, both of Berwick; Loren L. Fish, wife Barbara, Orangeville; a sister, Cindy A., wife of Larry Young, Millville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by two sisters: Beverly A. Ridall and Irene Fish and a brother, Vernon R. Hill, Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Gary M. Emrick officiating. Visitation from 10-11 a. m. Saturday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Canby Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
